When you need us
An appointment, a shift, a hearing, an errand
These are the days families reserve a block. Yours may be one of them, or one we haven't thought of.
An appointment
A clinic visit, a dentist's chair or a meeting at the school. Reserve a block and your child is with a teacher for the visit and the wait on either side.
A morning or an afternoon
Babies through four-year-olds
A shift
A few hours of work that couldn't move. Know which room your child is in, and who is in it, until you're back.
Any hours inside a block
Reserve the day before when you can
A hearing
Court is no place for a small child. We're close to the courthouse, so you can go in knowing that pickup is a short walk away.
A morning or an afternoon
Bring the time on your notice
An errand
The bank, the license office, a long list with no stroller. Reserve an hour or two and run it.
By the hour, when there is room
Pick up when you're done
How it works
Register once, then reserve a time
Four steps, and the first one is only once.
- 01
Step 1: Register once
Come in for a short visit. We fill in your child's file together: the adults who may pick up, your contacts and the routines that matter.
- 02
Step 2: Reserve a time
Choose a morning, an afternoon or hours inside one, on our reservation page or by phone. We confirm by text, or put you on the waitlist for that day.
- 03
Step 3: Drop off
A teacher meets you at the room door. Sign your child in, say goodbye and go; we text you if anything changes.
- 04
Step 4: Pick up
Come back when you said you would. If you're running late, call or text and we'll keep your child comfortable.
The first block
Goodbye, taken slowly
A first block is short on purpose.
We start at the door, with you there, and move to the rug when your child is ready. Tell us what helps at goodbye and we'll do it.
A teacher at the door every drop-off
A text if your plans change
The same faces from block to block
